Shipping policy
oorla.com understands the importance of shipping all our authentic foods and accessories in the finest, original, and safe condition to our customers, exactly as we procure from manufacturers across India. The packaging of all the products is done by our manufacturers across India, and our role here is to gather and deliver the products to your doorstep.
We have partnered with world's top courier services like UPS, FedEx, DHL, BlueDart, Delhivery, Amazon and USPS to ship all the orders with utmost care and shorter delivery lead time
All orders received at oorla.com will be shipped within 48hrs. Orders received on Fridays may take up to 68hrs to dispatch as most delivery services will be on leave during Saturdays and Sundays.
We provide Free Delivery on orders above $59.
Duties & Taxes:
- As mentioned under each product, the customer should pay any duties for Canada, the UK, Europe, Sri Lanka, Portugal, Thailand, the Czech Republic, and a few Middle East countries, and Oorla will not bear any duties. For these countries, there will be customs duties.
- Any duties for the rest of the countries, the duty tax should also be paid by the customer. Oorla will help the customer with customs clearance.
If you would like to purchase multiple items and ship them to two or more different addresses, please place different orders for the different addresses.
Our courier partner will attempt delivery twice at your specified shipping address before they inform us that your package is not deliverable. The rates may vary for international orders depending on country and delivery; certain countries add tariffs after the package is accepted. We are not responsible for these additional costs. The shipping rate will be displayed during checkout before you submit payment.
Orders once shipped are not eligible for returns.
ADDRESS AMENDMENTS:
Changes in Shipping address can only be made within 6 hours of placing the order. No changes will be made once the order is dispatched, even if the order is shipped within 6 hours from the time of order. In case of any unavoidable situation where you have to change the address after the dispatch, there will be an additional charge for the amendment.
If an order is returned to our facility due to an address issue (e.g., incorrect address provided by the customer, failed delivery attempts), no refund will be issued. Instead, customers will have the option to have the order reshipped to a corrected address. Reshipping will require payment of a partial amount from the original order value, along with the shipping charge for the replacement shipment.
Indian Orders
- We deliver PAN INDIA for more than 2500 cities & 30000+ pin codes across India.
- All Orders will be dispatched within 48 hours. (Orders received on Fridays may take up to 68 hours to dispatch as most delivery services will be working on Saturdays and Sundays). The 48-hour dispatch does not apply during festive seasons.
- Transit time to deliver the items is between 3-5 working days.
- Almost every Tamil Nadu order will be delivered on the second day of dispatch, and in rare cases, the delivery will take up to 4 days.
- Oorla provides Free Delivery across India for all products, with a minimum purchase order value (Order value will be mentioned on the website).
- A shipping charge will be added during the checkout for orders from India to other countries.
International Orders
USA & Canada Orders
- We deliver across the US for all the states within 2-5 days from the order date.
- International shipping charges start at INR 3500 for products up to 4kgs
- The customers should pay duties and taxes for any country.
All international orders (outside the US & India) will be processed within 2 days. (The processing time will vary during festive seasons, which will be mentioned to the customers at the checkout).
Dairy Product Warning:
Please note that milk sweets and dairy products such as Ghee cannot be sent to the UK or any European countries. In the event that an order from Europe includes milk-based products, we regret to inform you that we will not be able to fulfill that part of the order. We will offer an alternative product to replace the milk-based product or provide a refund within 5 business days if an alternative is unavailable. This only applies to European countries.
Nuts Product Warning:
Please note that products that contain nuts as an ingredient cannot be sent to the UK due to the United Kingdom's strict customs regulations. In the event that an order from the UK includes products that have nuts, we regret to inform you that we will not be able to fulfill that part of the order. We will offer an alternative product to replace the nuts-based product or provide a refund within 5 business days if an alternative is unavailable. This only applies to the UK.
