Oorla sources the flavorful Sholai Then/Sholai Honey from the Anamalai Tiger Reserve Forest Valparai, which is flavorful and rich in aroma,  and widely collected in all seasons.
The Sholai Honey is filtered to extract the impurities through a three-layer cloth and prepared by heating a copper rod and placing it inside the Sholai Honey for a short span to increase the shelf life.
